What the Championships will leave behind as a legacy

The environment commitments of all those involved in the organization of the Championships will result in the in-situ bequeathal of all the development work and buildings as a legacy for future generations.

- Construction of an HQE Sports Centre
- Fitting of specific protective equipment on trees lining the slopes (to protect them from damage by the winch cables during slope grooming)
- 4 extra hectares added to Forestry Commission managed land
- Development of the Manchet hamlet
- "Circe" observatory (protected plant species)
- Creation of a informative trail (Manchet Valley)
- Re-landscaping of the Manchet platforms
- Central Val d'Isère entirely pedestrian-only zone
