Rhône-Alpes Slope (Women's Downhill)
Considerable redevelopment work was necessary on the Rhone-Alpes slope situated on Solaise, on which the women's Downhill and Super G events are to be held, in order to widen the too-narrow existing slope. Even though the work was carried out within the existing skiing area, it attracted a great deal of attention on the subject of the environment :
- Expertise of the floristic heritage
- Analyse of the integration into the landscape
- Promise of specific replanting operations
- Compliance with environmental specifications during development work
- Active defence of protected species of plants
