11:07 Ted Ligety, the combined olympic champion in 2006, felt down and went into the nets but the American seems alright.

11:03 Robbie Dixon also had some trouble but managed to finish almost 5 seconds better than Weibrecht.
11:01 USA's Andrew Weibrecht was the first to go and almost felt down just before the end of the race, he finished in 1:27.48.

10:54 The French skiers have an outsider status in front of their homecrowd. Adrien Théaux will the be the first to go (28), folllowed by three compatriots, Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin (n°35), David Poisson (n°36), Gauthier De Teissieres (n°39).
10:51 Benjamin Raich will be the first favorite to go, with the #9 jersey. Bode Miller (12), Didier Cuche (16), Aksel Lund Svindal (19), Hermann Maier (20) and Didier Defago (20) will be the next to follow.
